So here is Part 2 of the post called, The Beginning. Now, I do not have the video or other pictures up of Taft and I when we got engaged, I will get them up soon! But this moment was truly one of the best moments of my entire life. I will tell the story from my side and his side.
My version:
Friday May 17, 2013 I was going up to Utah to find a dress, get my sister her dress and do a bunch of other wedding things. Weird, I know. Taft and I weren't engaged when wedding planning had started, but I knew it was coming! I had been bugging Taft all week, we need to get engaged! People are starting to talk about us getting married and I want to make the announcement already! All he would say is, "I'm working on it." Ha, fine. Have it your way then. So I am about to leave for Utah, I hadn't been able to see Taft before I left, and I was sad. I wanted to be with him. He couldn't FaceTime with me because he was having a family BBQ with another family. Of course, I was upset. But whatever. I will see him Sunday when I get home. Saturday May 18, 2013 I go wedding dress shopping and find my dream dress. It is absolutely perfect, I had the 'bridal moment' that you see on the TV show Say Yes to the Dress! I was so excited! We went to the mall and shopped, ate some food and just had nice quality family time. My mom wanted to go and check out the temple grounds where Taft and I would be getting married at. None of us had been to the Mt. Timpanogus temple before so this was exciting! Of course I was excited, but I was also very sad, my eternal companion was eight hours away and I was at our temple. The place where we will be sealed for time and all eternity. I was walking around the temple with my family, and I was pulling out my phone to text Taft to tell him how much I love and miss him, when I saw him, standing under the Angel Moroni waiting for me. I started crying, but then I got too excited to cry because it was happening! I was about to be proposed to! I run over to Taft and give him the biggest hug ever! He whispers in my ear, "I love you Morgan, and I want you for all of eternity." He got down on one knee and proposed. I couldn't have been happier, it was the perfect moment, the perfect day. We have it all on video and about 30-45 pictures of it actually happening. I was beaming.
Taft's Version:
Now, I may not do a very good job but I can assume it went like this.
Friday May 17, 2013 I woke up at 6 am to drive to SLC Utah where I will get Morgan's ring made. She doesn't know I am leaving the state, let alone leaving to get her ring and to propose to her the next day. She will be so surprised.
Saturday May 18, 2013 today is the big day! Today I will ask Morgan to be my eternal companion. The plan was to propose at 5:30pm at the East side of the temple, but I was ready to go at 3:00... (Anyone who knows Taft, knows he is a planner and he is always always always on time!) Her sister texted me and told me to go to the temple at 4:30pm. *panic sets in* I fly down the freeway, swerving in and out of traffic, I feel like I belong in Fast and Furious. I get to the temple, and I am waiting.. (We got lost...)
I can't tell you what the rest of the story was like for him, but I can imagine he felt the immense love for me, that I felt for him. All I know is this, Taft and I only have 48 more days until we are sealed for time and all eternity. I know that this is the best decision I will ever make in my entire life. I know Taft and I were meant to be married and to raise a family together, we were meant to find each other for reasons known, and reasons that will soon be revealed to us. He is my rock, and my love for him grows with each new day. People say a love like this comes once in a lifetime, I have found it. When I think of home and happiness, I think of Taft.

The Beginning
Because this blog is about Taft and I, and all of the crazy moments in our life I figure I should post about the beginning of our relationship. Now, I tell the story very differently than he does, but I will depict the beginning of us the best I possibly can.
It all started on February 8, 2013 I deem this day to be the beginning of something beautiful. Our first date. Now I know this may seem silly but this is HUGE! Especially since Taft asked me out on three dates before I said yes.. As much as I hate this part of this story it is one of the most important parts! It is the beginning of us. Our first date was perfect in its own little way. We went and saw the movie Warm Bodies, which is absolutely awesome, and then we went to our favorite ice cream shop, Cold Stone. This is how we ordered,
Cold Stone man: "What can I get for you?"
Taft: "Peanut Butter Cup Perfection, with extra perfection!"
Cold Stone man: "Awesome!"
Me: "I would like Birthday Cake remix with extra remix!"
Ever since that day, we had been inseparable. And I wouldn't trade it for anything in this world.
February 26, 2013 we officially became boyfriend and girlfriend. It was just another marker that lead Taft and I to this point in our lives right now. Taft and I never really expected to fall in love or to get married just months down the road! But there isn't anything I would change about our story.
April 18, 2013 "Morgan, I think I love you.." In my head, "Oh my gosh!! He said he loved me! He loves me! Wait.. he thinks he loves me. What does that mean?!" Me, speaking out loud, "I think I love you too!" In my head again, "I don't think I love him.. I do love him!" It was perfect. It was everything I had hoped and dreamed for. And look at us now. Happy and in love.
Now, I would tell you the rest of the story but I will make it it's own blog post, so stay tuned!
xoxo

Chicken Alfredo Pizza deliciousness
So last night, I was really craving some pizza! Sidenote: Taft and I are saving our money the best we can, we have done that by trying really hard not to eat out! It has been working, we can definitely see the health and financial benefits of eating at home! Back to the pizza, so my soon to be sister in law made Taft and I some AWESOME and I mean awesome, chicken alfredo pizza. So why not share it with the blogging world? It is absolutely delicious. No, I won't have health information, like fat, cholesterol, etc.. Or pictures! I totally spaced taking pictures of the food I was preparing! You are just going to have to trust me, it is delicious! I use my best friends mom's pizza dough recipe, because it is the best of all time. Ever.
Pizza Dough:
1 Package Active Dry Yeast (About 2 1/4 tsp.)
1 Cup warm water
1 teaspoon sugar (I use a 1/4 cup, it makes the dough so much sweeter!)
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 1/2 cups all-purpose or whole wheat flour
*If using self-rising flour, omit salt.
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Stir in remaining ingredients; beat vigorously 20 strokes. Let rest about 5 minutes.
Preheat oven: 425 degrees
Always put dough onto a greased and/or floured pan!
Add your favorite ingredients!
Bake: 20-25 minutes or until cheese is light brown
Super simple right?! This dough recipe is almost fool proof, the dough gets thick and I find it much easier to use your hand to stir.. that is just me though. I always cook my dough just for about six minutes as the oven heats up.
Chicken Alfredo Pizza:
(Warning: I usually eyeball pizza toppings, so just do what you think is best. Have a good ratio of everything on the pizza, but do what you like!)
1 Chicken breast, cooked and cut into bite size pieces
1 small red onion, diced into small pieces
1/2 package of bacon, cooked and cut into bite size pieces
1 package of mozzarella cheese
1/2 jar Alfredo pasta sauce
Put everything on top of the pizza, pop the pizza back into the oven until cheese is a golden brown.
Tips and Tricks:
*I usually cook my chicken on a George Foreman grill right in the kitchen. It is super easy and more convenient for me.
* I don't usually use a whole, small, red onion. I only use about a half of one. If you are making two pizzas a whole, small, red onion will do you just fine!
* 1 package of bacon is more than enough for two pizzas, if you like extra bacon throw it on there! We won't judge you!
* If you like extra cheesy pizza, add more cheese! For me, the cheesier the better!
* The best alfredo sauce is Bertolli! Use what you like or what you can afford! 1/2 a jar is plenty for one pizza!
*Remember, the best thing about pizza is, you can make it your own! Have fun when making pizza! Let little ones make their own mini pizzas!
I am sorry I don't have pictures but I will surely get some up next time I put up a recipe!
I hope you enjoy!
Happy eating!

Hello Blogger
Hi there!
I'm Morgan the author of the blog. I'm not sure if Taft will want to write anything on the blog, but if he does its okay. This is his journey too! I have been wanting to blog for such a long time! So many people blog and it is a great resource. Tons of my pins off of Pinterest go straight to blogs, and I want to start linking my pins to my blog! It is a great way to have stories, memories, advice and all sorts of other things all in one place! I just wanted to get my first post on the page! Then I will get more and more crafty, as time moves on! Well hopefully this will be just as great as I hope it will be! I'll post something soon! Stay tuned!
xoxo
Morgan
